ONLINE CLASSES TO GET YOU THROUGH
Though our reality is shifting moment by moment, I want to offer some opportunities for consistent physical practice. I will be teaching classes and conducting private lessons online during the COVID 19 shutdown.
I'm still figuring out the approach to teaching in this format and what the best schedule.
I will continue to use both Zoom and Instagram LIVE. I like Zoom because we can approach it like being in class together and the container of community is a very important part of taking classes. I encourage you to leave your video screens on (but audio muted) so we can have the experience of being together at least in virtual space.

It's an interesting time for thinking about money/payment/survival. Here is my approach to charging for classes.
If you have not lost your income streams-- you are able to work from home, teach your courses online, etc--and you are still getting regular paychecks, consider supporting artists and teachers at the rate you would normally.
If you have had a decrease in income or lost it all together, but aren't in dire straits, consider tipping your instructor like you would if your friend the barista hooked you up with a free coffee.
If having to pay anything at all creates a barrier for you to take class because you cannot afford it, then don't let it be. As far as I'm concerned just join in.
